About me
Rick is an instructional Technology Coach/Director at the Governor Mifflin School District in Shillington, PA. he has been instrumental in the planning and implementation in their 1:World roll-out in 2017, as well as Wilson School District 1:1 implementation in 2014. In addition, Rick works with teachers all over the country and has been selected to present at many conferences including ISTE and Learning Foward. He is a Google Certified Trainer, Google Geo Teacher, and Google Certified Educator Level 1 & 2, Minecraft EDU Trainer, and MIE Trainer. He works with K-12 teachers to enhance lessons, using technology, in order to increase student engagement. Before embarking on his coaching journey, he taught 6th-12th grade computer software/business courses. He is a firm believer that to create lifelong independent learners, educators need to focus on the 4C’s (Creativity, Collaboration, Communication, and Critical Thinking) In his spare time he enjoys spending time outside, especially cycling, running swimming, snowboarding, and paddleboarding.
