About me
Audra Yocom (she/her) started teaching in Alpine School District in 2015 and has been with Pleasant Grove High School since January 2016. This past year, Audra joined the Success in Education foundation as their Director of Technology Education, overseeing the Code to Success and Ken Garff Esports programs. When Audra joined the SIE team, she insisted that she be able to stay in the classroom half time - to ensure she didn't lose touch with the students and teachers she would be serving.
Audra graduated with her B.S. degree in Technology and Engineering Education from BYU and is currently finishing up her Master's in Information Technology Management from WGU. She has taught as an adjunct at UVU for numerous years, courses including: Introduction to Information Systems (INFO 1120), Computer Architecture & Systems Software (IT 1600), and Methods of Teaching Computer Science (BMED 4300), which is required for the new CS Education major that is being offered at UVU.
